My 1st tryst with Chinese food. My father had taken me and my sister out to try out a new type of cuisine. This was in Kharagpur(W.B) He had lovingly ordered sweet corn soup and lots of other things after that. We could barely get it down our throat. We didn’t know what in god’s name was being served and the smell… I can never forget that evening…my poor papa was so disappointed, he didn’t think of packing the entire leftover home, and we always tell him he should have done it. Needless to say how we have always relished Chinese food henceforth.

From whom did you learn to cook?

Learnt cooking from my Mother.

What is the best party you have ever attended or thrown?

The ‘best Party’ has been at my parents when I was 13yrs old. It was a farewell Party for a friend and that was 1st time I had seen so many different types of preparations being churned out. Unforgetable…
