What is your favorite food memory? Please provide an anecdote?

My favorite memory is when I had a taste of Sushi and Sashimi. I thought that if spices and/or seasoning are not included in a cuisine then the food had to be bland. So when accompanying one of my friends to a Sushi place for the sake of company, I landed up eating more than her!

From whom did you learn to cook? Or, What is the best party you have ever attended or thrown?

I learnt to cook at 8 from German nuns at the convent school that I attended while in Dar-es-salaam.
